design and technology

Hosted by Google
2016/10/06
イベントの概要 About

Thanks to everyone who attended (or livestreamed) SPAN Tokyo on October 6, 2016. This year’s speakers included design curator and critic Deyan Sudjic, illustrator Mariya Suzuki, pop artist Keiichi Tanaami, Google engineer and artist Mike Tyka, and many more. We’ll be updating this site with captioned and translated video of the day’s talks, behind-the-scenes footage, and programming highlights in the coming weeks. Please check back soon, and be sure to read our Guide to SPAN Tokyo.

SPAN explores the ways in which design and technology shape our everyday lives. A conference created by designers for designers, this year’s events in Tokyo and Los Angeles will focus on the creative communities in each location. Featuring makers and thinkers who educate and inspire us, SPAN is our opportunity to highlight the best in today’s interdisciplinary design practice.
